  • Use: Offices.
  • Architecture: Abraham Yaski, Yossi Sivan, Eli Atiya.
  • Building Style: Modern.
  • Location: The corner of Menachem Begin way and Giva't Hatachmoshet st.
  • Azrieli center is located in the heart of the CBD (Central Building District) and the city of Tel Aviv, next to main transportation veins, and is therefore accessible and a key part of the central area's urban texture. With the completion of the Circular and Triangular towers, the towers have won great publicity, and quickly the center became a symbol of the renewing Tel Aviv and of Israel generally.
  • Azrieli center is the flagship project of the Azrieli group, who's responsible of importing the mall concept to Israel.
  • Azrieli Center contains:
  • 150,000 square meters (1,614,580 square ft.) of offices.
  • One of Israel's biggest malls, considered also to be one of the most successful.
  • The "Globus" cinema that holds 8 film theatres.
  • A convention center that consists of 6 halls and a screening theatre.
  • Various supermarkets and institutes.
  • A panoramic observatory that also serves as a banquet hall.
  • Cost of the project: 350 million dollars.
  • During construction, architect Eli Atiya was replaced by the architects office of A.Yaski and Y.Sivan, that somewhat changed the plans. The original plan included a small avenue to the north of the mall, and the changed plan included a large supermarket at the expense of the cancelled avenue, and a change in the tower's coating.
  • A pedestrian bridge connects Azrieli Towers to the Kirya. The bridge is 110 meters long (360 ft.) and 8 meters tall (26 ft.), and was designed by architect Yosi Sivan, from the Yaski-Sivan architects office. Its design suits the towers', and it was completed in March 2003.
  • Another pedestrian bridge, passing above Ayalon South, connects Azrieli center, via the mall, to "Hashalom" railway station.
  • The convention center uses 6 elevators that connect to a lobby, each holding 24 people. Each hall observes the city's landscape.
  • During construction of the towers, each floor's framework was built in less than a week.
  • The mall's 3rd floor consists of: a roofed part, accommodating small caf?s, connections to a gym and a learning institute, and the entrance to the observatory ; and an unroofed part, that is a large balcony, divided to several areas, which hold promenades and various attractions such as a children's happening spot and an amphitheatre.
  • Azrieli Towers' parking lot is the largest parking lot of a building in Israel and surroundings, with 3500 parking places on 5 floors, and traffic of about 12,000 vehicles per day. The parking lot is built around an entrance rotary to the mall and around a large fountain on the other side, and a separate lobby serves each tower in the parking lot's ground floor. In spite of its being underground, the parking lot's open eastwards and westwards, allowing entrance of fresh air and daylight.
  • The tower's illumination changes on holidays and special occasions, according to the occasion, and sometimes the towers present a spotlight-made caption.
  • Azrieli center has ports leading to and from Hashalom road, from Hashalom interchange (directly from Ayalon highway), to and from Begin road, and to Ayalon South and North. In the future will be introduced: a port leading to and from Moses st. (to the north of Azrieli), and an entrance tunnel from the submerged part of Kaplan interchange.
  • Before the establishment of Azrieli center, its area was occupied by a parking lot for garbage trucks.
